What is Caribbean Speaks?
Caribbean speaks is an online business directory, Caribbean business and resource center, and educational space for business owners.

Caribbean Speaks aims to help people find businesses, brands, services, products, and charities they can trust throughout the Caribbean region.

The dues collected from businesses allow Caribbean Speak to offer its information and services to consumers at no charge. Caribbean Speaks is not affiliated with any governmental organization.

When did Caribbean Speaks Start?
In 2020 the concept for Caribbean Speaks was born. We saw the frustration of businesses to be noticed by ideal clients and the disappointment of consumers searching through Facebook groups and WhatsApp groups for services required. We figured there had to be an easier way to get businesses the visibility they sought and consumers an easier method to get the required information.
However, we realized that we needed to take it a bit further. Some islands in the Caribbean offered services that others did not, and we saw the opportunity to bring those services to the fingertips of the consumer without them having to travel and make lots of expensive calls.

Furthermore, we realized many were unaware of the vast resources on sister islands. So we sought a way to bring visibility to the resources and make finding them easier for consumers.

Caribbean Speak came into being as a result is a private organization focused on advancing marketplace trust and highlighting the wealth of resources offered in the Caribbean space. Additionally, we seek to help businesses grow by providing educational resources—more on our mission and vision here.
